The Adventurer Club is a platform for social good while helping people to reconnect with their inner adventurer and this includes families. We want to provide information, events, support and help to ensure more people can make great decisions.
Why support families?
I grew up in a single parent family and know how tough it can be for other families. Time isn’t infinite and neither is money. We are all just trying to do the best that we can do with what we have.
I blogged earlier (read HERE) about our support for Snowdonia Giving and that’s just one aspect of our social good. The launch is less than a month from now and as part of that I’d like to give some specific support for one family.
What is being offered?
We at The Adventurer Club will be offering the below for a family that would love to come to north Wales for an adventure weekend but can’t, for whatever reason, justify doing so. This will include –
- Expenses towards travel up to £150
- Two nights accommodation in Llanberis on a B&B basis
- Two days guided walks
- A selection of The Adventurer Club goodies
- Family membership to The Adventurer Club for one year
T&C will apply and I’ll details those during the launch and the process for application.
What to do in the meantime?
But what I would love you all to do is SHARE this blog to let people know this is coming. It’s important that people know and have the opportunity and our community is so inclusive and giving. Please do action this one thing for me…
We want to help families. We really do. Our subscriptions will be tiered to also help support single parent families and we shall run some events to help connect people and provide an adventure environment for all.
The application process…
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with some details about you, your family and how an adventure could bring goodness to your world.
Applications close on December 21st and we’ll contact the chosen recipient on Christmas Eve and then agree dates and details.
